In a nutshell..... Graduated HHS in 1970, married in 1971, had my children in 72, 74, 79, 81 & 84 (4 boys, 1 girl), lived in Yonkers, Hastings, West Nyack, a co-op and now a townhouse in NJ, juggled avocation as a community activist for 11 years, worked in family deli-catering b'ness then simultaneously opened gift & candy shop, earned an associates degree while raising family, learned far more from life, in 95 took vacation of a lifetime through Germany & Austria (can't wait to see Italy now), separated in 97, certified as a paralegal (99) and dialysis tech (96), closed businesses (99), worked as non-profit exec. director x 3 positions through the years, as a paralegal, divorced in 2002, worked for property management company, resigned and cared for my Mom until her death on Christmas Eve 2003, became a MIL in 2003 (and ex-MIL in 2007 and again new in MIL 2009 and 2010), sold the family home of 20 years in 2004, traveled a bit in 2005 and just spent 2 months in NMB, SC, 2012. Bought townhouse in NJ that sons lived in and now I do, officially became an empty nester in 2006 and again in 2011, kids are wonderful contributing members to society, caring and content and so I'm happy.
